Platform Training

The LSBHI requires trainees complete 30 hours of platform training after completion of the 90 classroom or online hours. This training is a detailed study of each building system covered by the LSBHI Standards of Practice. We currently only offer this course in the evenings from 6-9pm Monday thru Friday, allowing you to complete the platform training in 2 weeks.

Live Inspection Training

Live inspection training is on-the-job training. LSBHI requires trainees to attend 10 live inspections with an approved in-field trainer. The trainee will complete his own inspection report at the time of the training. The goal is for the trainee to independently complete a mock inspection and report to the LSBHI Standards by the end of the training.

Each live follow is $100 per an inspection. We have live inspections everyday that you can attend.
